<p class="Paragraph">There are many options for moving or copying objects using drag and drop. Selected text, text areas, draw objects, graphics, buttons and other form functions, hyperlinks, table areas and many more can be moved with the mouse.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Pay attention when dragging using the mouse pointer. The mouse pointer shows a plus sign when copying and an arrow when making a link or hyperlink.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">If you press Ctrl or Shift+Ctrl when releasing the mouse button, you can usually influence whether the item is copied, moved, or a link is created.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Drag objects out of the <help:link Id="68003" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><span class="T1">Navigator</span></help:link>; in the submenu of the <span class="T1">Drag Mode</span> icon, specify whether to copy the object, insert it as a link or insert it as a hyperlink.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can cancel a drag and drop operation in <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> at any time by pressing the Esc key before releasing the mouse button.</p>
